About Starlight Children’s Foundation
Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family events.

Starlight Starbright’s programs and services distract children from their pain, help them better understand and manage their illnesses, and connect families facing similar challenges so that no one feels alone.

Select Starlight Starbright programs include:

Great Escapes -- family activities that provides seriously ill children and their families with recreational opportunities (movie screenings, trips to the circus or ball games, mother-daughter makeovers, picnics, pajama parties, etc.) and a chance to have fun together away from the hospital so they can relax, regroup and return home with a renewed sense of strength and hope.

PC Pals -- specially-designed laptop computers for pediatric patients ages 5-18, developed to help combat the feelings of loneliness and isolation so often experienced by hospitalized children. These portable units bring educational, entertainment and communication opportunities to pediatric patients’ bedsides.

Fun Centers -- mobile entertainment units that include a Nintendo GameCube™ system, a DVD player, and a flat screen monitor. The Fun Center rolls right up to the bed or into a treatment room, wherever the child is within the hospital.

Starbright World – A safe, online community for teens living with a chronic or serious illness that allows them to connect with one another and share similar experiences.

Pure Fun™ works with the Lunar Foundation and other Children’s charities to organize events that Celebrate the life of children and their families who are living with the knowledge that they are soon dying.” Our goal is to create a memory that siblings and family can hold on to and remember as a positive experience.

League for Human Rights™
Pure Fun is proud to support the League for Human rights, an organization that is dedicated to combatting racism, bigotry and terrorism. The objectives of the League include the protection of human rights … the development of positive inter-community relations, and the elimination of racial discrimination and anti semitism. Working in co-operative association with the Anti-Defamation League, the League for Human rights accomplishes its goals through legal legislative initiatives, intercultural dialogues, community coalitions and educational programming. The League provides training programs and resource material in the areas of racism, human rights, multiculturalism, harassment and equity issues such as:
